Creativity – component to build capacity to think creative

What is creativity? At first I thought artists are only the persons who use creativity on their output but now I realize that creativity can be on thinking also. How actually can we think creatively?? How to be a creative tinker? How can we know whether the people around us think creatively? Actually, there is a simple method to recognize those creative people based on 7 characteristics as following: they are Dynamic, Daring, Resourcefulness, Industrious, Independent, Wide Range of Interest and Attracted to “Abstract” Ideas . I am going to show some of the characteristic.
Creative people should be independent. Talking about independence, it reminds me of recent news I heard from the TV.

She is Laura Dekker, only 14 year-old and was born on New Zealand .She hopes to become the youngest person to make a solo voyage around the world with a yacht. Her independence impresses me very much. The trip could cost her life. What if pirates attack her or the storm hits her boat? At this young age she has shown that she can do much without her parents. How many of us are able to leave the protection of our parents and manage challenges on our own?
Creative people are hardworking. Let’s talk about someone whom all of us know. Mother Teresa was extremely hardworking and kind.

Uncountable of people had received help from her especially among the poor. She went around the world in order to help as many people as she could regardless of races, religions and ages. Her efforts and virtues were honored and recognized highly by governments and universities all over the world.

Creative people are daring. It’s all about “adventure”. Remember Steve Irwin the “Crocodile Hunter”? An Australian Naturalist and TV personality, the action hero of real life often had escapades with crocs, venomous snake, and tried his own hand capturing the risky reptiles without any safety precaution. Do you dare to play around with those creatures? Steve Irwin was thrilled at the sight of adventure. He longed for moments which could cause his adrenaline rush. Unfortunately, he was killed on 4 September 2006 while filming underwater at Great Barrier Reef. His heart was pierced by a stingray’s serrated barb and become the first death by stingray ever filmed. Adventurous people always set their risk aversion in low level. Tribute to the adventurous father of two.
